Giving constructive feedback, even when thoughtfully and timely delivered, is not always received is a non-defensive manner.
During this follow-up to basic feedback, you will practice phrasing feedback using objective and factual descriptions, modify your reactions to minimize defensiveness, and practice assertively responding to challenging, evasive and diverting detours. Learn how to keep your feedback session focused and on track.
At the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to:
- Define and express facts rather than subjective opinions.
- Describe 3 communication detours and learn how to respond to them.
- Practice assertive replies for challenging situations.
